David Cameron

David is a specialist healthcare recruiter with experience across allied health, nursing, and regional and remote recruitment. He supports providers across Australia to attract clinicians who not only meet the requirements of the role but are also well positioned to succeed and stay.

David recruits Occupational Therapists, Speech Pathologists, Psychologists, Physiotherapists, Exercise Physiologists, Behaviour Support Practitioners and Nurses. He brings a strong understanding of the realities shaping the sector, including NDIS funding and billing models, clinical supervision, workforce shortages, employee burnout and the challenges of recruiting in regional communities.

Known for his honest and consultative approach, David takes the time to understand each organisation’s operating environment, team culture, onboarding and retention challenges. He believes successful recruitment is about strengthening the team—not simply filling a vacancy—and is comfortable having candid conversations when the underlying issue may extend beyond recruitment.

For clinicians, David provides a realistic picture of each opportunity, helping them understand the role, employer and questions they should ask before making a move. He also supports internationally qualified professionals and employers with overseas recruitment pathways, including qualification recognition, visa navigation and relocation considerations.

Before joining Be Recruitment, David worked with MOR. Healthcare and Fortis Recruitment, where he developed specialist experience in healthcare and regional and remote nursing recruitment.
