About Max

Max has been working in the recruitment industry since 2006 and he enjoys the fast pace and autonomous nature of the role. He has been working in Canberra since 2008 and has made some key contacts in the market.

Having worked as a recruitment consultant and also as a client gives him a good perspective of the pressures and motivations of both sides. He provides his clients and candidates with informed and relevant advice and a service that is based on honesty and respect.

At Capital Recruit we operate with a simple mantra of "No Surprises". We operate with integrity and a strong foundations of morals and the wish to do the right thing by clients and candidates. We're proactive in handling potentially tricky situations and want the best outcome for all parties.

Interests

Being British, Max is passionate about Soccer (to anyone from the U.K. reading this - Football). For years he has been a long suffering West Ham fan, watching them yo-yo between the EPL and the Championship. Since coming to Australia in 2008 he's fallen in love with AFL and supported Richmond as this was the boyhood club of his mate who introduced him to the game. For years it seemed it like he'd found an AFL team to match the success (or lack there of) of West Ham - but the last few years have been incredible - long may it last! UPDATE - it didn't last, let's make the pain of the rebuild worthwhile!
