FirstCall Health

FirstCall Health is a healthcare staffing agency based in Werribee, Victoria. It was founded in 2009 and began as a small boutique agency servicing only the Geelong region. It now says it services all Victorian suburbs and a number of regional areas, including Melbourne CBD, the Western, Northern, Eastern and South Eastern suburbs, and the Bellarine and Mornington Peninsulas. Angela Zulumovski is CEO.

The agency supplies nurses, carers, clinical educators and clinical support staff to hospitals, aged care providers, private medical facilities, universities and disability services. Roles include registered nurses, enrolled nurses, clinical care managers, personal care workers, allied health staff, school nurses, disability support workers and NDIS registered nurses. It is a preferred provider on the Public Health tender for a number of public hospitals, and supplies clinical educators to universities under preferred provider contracts.

It offers shift work, temp-to-perm and permanent placements, plus a staff management service for sites where the standard recruitment fee does not suit. Staff use the Venus Connect web app for daily shift offers, availability calendars, rosters and payslips.
