ZSA Legal Recruitment is a Canadian legal recruitment firm founded in 1997. It describes itself as Canada's largest national legal recruitment firm, specialising in the headhunting, recruitment and placement of lawyers, partners, legal support staff and law firm management.
It works with law firms and companies, filling private practice roles as well as in-house counsel and legal leadership positions. Its legal search consultants are former practising lawyers, and its legal support consultants are former practising legal professionals. The company reports more than 25 years of experience, over 6000 candidates placed, over 1000 clients and more than 15 legal recruiters. Christopher Sweeney is its CEO.
ZSA has offices in Toronto, Montreal, Vancouver and Calgary and serves law firms and corporations across Canada and abroad. It publishes salary guides for in-house and private practice lawyers, and founded the Canadian General Counsel Awards, the Western Canada General Counsel Awards, the Québec General Counsel Awards and the Quorum Club, an invitation-only forum for general counsel.
