YP Recruitment

YP Recruitment is a specialist engineering and technical recruitment agency founded in Leeds and recruiting across the UK. It works in six areas: engineering, manufacturing, construction, property services, technical sales, and executive and leadership roles. Roles it fills include mechanical and electrical design engineers, production and operations managers, site managers, quantity surveyors, building surveyors, sales engineers and managing directors.

The company began as Yorkshire Precision Recruitment, focused on the precision engineering sector in West Yorkshire. As clients outside Yorkshire asked for help, it began filling roles in the Midlands, the North West and Scotland. It trades through Yorkshire Precision Recruitment and Search Limited.

Clients range from SMEs to multinationals, including precision engineering firms, Tier 1 automotive suppliers, construction firms and property services companies. Candidates range from graduate engineers to senior leaders. For employers it handles the search, screening and shortlist, and says it sends two or three candidates per brief rather than a large number of CVs.
