Xist4

Xist4 is a recruitment firm specialising in data, technology, AI and leadership roles. It says it has specialised in this field since 1999. It recruits across leadership, software engineering, data science, AI and machine learning, data engineering and architecture, business intelligence, cyber security, cloud and infrastructure.

Its clients are mission-led, cultural and heritage organisations such as museums, galleries, heritage trusts, libraries and archives, greentech firms working on electrified transport, energy and the built environment, and technology start-ups and scale-ups. It works with a select number of clients at a time, and recruits across the UK from Bristol, with an office in London.

Every search starts with a brief, followed by market mapping, a shortlist and management of the candidate journey through to offer and start date. The company continues to check in after offer acceptance, at Day 1, Week 1 and at one, three, six and twelve months, and says 91% of its placements are still in role a year later. It also offers a fixed-fee, two-day Hiring Campaign Diagnostic for organisations that recruit directly.
