Workforce

Workforce, which also writes its name as Workforce Inc., is a privately owned labour management company founded in 2010. It is headquartered in Sudbury, Ontario, and says it maintains operations throughout the province, with a presence in Timmins, Thunder Bay, Sault Ste. Marie and the Greater Toronto Area.

The company provides temporary staffing, project and contract labour, and volume recruiting for clients with high turnover, seasonal hiring needs, maintenance shutdowns or rapid expansion. Permanent search is offered through its sister company, Calstone Search Group. It also runs payroll services, skills testing on the SHL Talent Central platform, and in-house training for candidates in areas such as working at heights, confined space entry, first aid, WHMIS and forklift. A safety division offers risk assessments, audits and emergency response planning.

Workforce Inc. also oversees partner organisations: HR Project Partners Inc. in St. John's, Newfoundland and Labrador, and Crag Energy Services LLC in Houston, Texas. Its recruiters hold either the Certified Personnel Consultant designation from ACSESS or the Registered Professional Recruiter designation from the Institute of Professional Management.
