WOODselect presents itself as the place for technical talent across a wide range of disciplines, from bouwkunde to IT and from bedrijfskunde to civiele techniek, elektrotechniek and werktuigbouwkunde. The company organises its work into three areas, Engineering, IT Solutions and Techsupport, and matches candidates with a technical education or technical work experience to a project in one of them. It offers both short assignments and long term detachering, and it calls itself a powerhouse for technical people whose aim is to add value to the projects its specialists work on. Engineering covers ingenieurs working on housing, infrastructure, industrial production and the fitting out of businesses. IT Solutions is described as the connecting link between IT talent and demanding projects, with the company arguing that the rapid advance of AI and algorithms has made the human factor in IT more important, not less. Techsupport is an uitzend- en detacheringsbureau specialising in technical skilled workers up to mbo+ level, working nationally in bouw en infra, werktuigbouw and elektro- en installatietechniek. The bedrijfskunde practice covers complex change programmes, risk management, financial management, process optimisation, supply chain and quality. Bouwkunde runs to bouwfysica, structural design, interieurbouw, stedenbouwkunde, utiliteitsbouw and woningbouw, while civiele techniek spans beton- en waterbouw, energienetwerken, gasdistributie, underground cables and pipes, urban water and sewerage, telecom, traffic engineering, water distribution and road building.

WOODselect works across the Netherlands, with Techsupport active nationwide for its clients. It recruits at MBO, HBO and WO level for roles such as tekenaar, werkvoorbereider, projectleider, calculator, constructeur, contractmanager and uitvoerder GWW, as well as projectmanager, buyer, manager HSQE, business consultant and procesmanager.
