William Blake Group

William Blake Group is a London-based recruitment and search firm that works only with the buy-side of the investment industry. It fills mid to senior level permanent and contract roles for investment managers, across institutional, wholesale and retail channels and all asset classes, in the UK, EMEA and the US.

Its consultants work in four areas: distribution, private markets, operations and data, and risk, audit and compliance. Roles covered include sales and client management, product and marketing, fundraising and investor relations, investment operations, reporting, internal audit, risk management and compliance. Clients can engage it on a contingent basis, with fees paid on successful placement, or through an annual subscription partnership with a dedicated account team and regular market updates. Additional services include team structure analysis, interview process audits and succession planning.

The business was co-founded by partners Danielle Rapaport and Keir Hostler, who still manage it. It says it has seven consultants and client partnerships spanning up to 16 years.
