William Alexander Recruitment is a recruitment agency specialising in technology and business transformation roles within insurance and financial services. It was founded in 2010 by Will Larcombe and Alex Colwell, who had worked together at another recruitment consultancy. It recruits for clients across the UK on a contract and interim, permanent and executive search basis, and also lists outcome based professional services.

In insurance it works with specialty insurers, reinsurers and brokers in the London market. In financial services it covers banking and asset management in the City of London, as well as retail banks and fintech providers. Its technology work spans data, analysis, development and devOps, and its change roles include project managers, analysts and change leaders. It says it regularly sources people for digital, cloud, regulatory and infrastructure programmes.

The company has offices in London and Brighton. It reports more than 45,000 records on its candidate database and says it placed over 100 permanent staff and contractors in the last year. It is ISO 27001 and ISO 9001 certified.
