Wikiwork Werving & Selectie

Wikiwork is a Dutch werving- en selectiebureau that describes itself as skilled and professional with a personal touch, and that works for employers and employees alike. Its promise is to find the job that suits you, or the new colleague who suits your team, and it brings clients and jobseekers together using the knowledge and experience in its own team. The company argues its case simply: people spend an average of 90,000 hours of their lives at work, which it treats as reason enough to make sure the placement is right, because work is only enjoyable when a person is in the right place with the right colleagues. Employers, it says, get an informal and reliable bureau that switches quickly and is broadly deployable.

Wikiwork places people in very varied branches, running from administrative, financial and HR functions through to commercial and technical jobs. Recent vacancies on its site illustrate the range, including a projectmedewerker, a junior projectleider milieutechniek and a sales role in a fitness shop. Alongside recruitment it runs Wikipay, and it publishes its own news, an open application route with CV upload, and separate guidance pages for jobseekers and for employers.

The company is based in Alphen aan den Rijn and works in the surrounding region, covering Leiden, Rotterdam, Amsterdam and Den Haag. It cooperates with many local organisations in and around the Randstad, with clients in the regions of Den Haag, Rotterdam, Leiden, Delft and Zoetermeer as well as Amsterdam, and it has recently extended into Belgium. That spread, it says, gives it thorough knowledge of the current labour market and makes it useful across the board. Its team is led by consultant and owner Linda Tjaden, working with consultants José Wijkens and Chantal Roeleveld, each with a direct number and email address on the site.
