Wij Van Noord

Wij van Noord (We from the North) is a temporary staffing agency based in Leeuwarden, Friesland, specialising in jobs within construction (bouw) and technology (techniek) sectors. The agency works to find positions that align with individual preferences and capabilities. The process begins with candidates selecting a trade profession that appeals to them and providing their details, followed by a personal consultation to discuss skills and preferences. The agency then introduces candidates to employers, handling all administrative and logistical arrangements before the candidate starts their new position. Wij van Noord maintains ongoing contact, serving as a continued point of contact for the employee.

The agency's construction specialties include carpenters, street makers, operators, grout workers, tile layers, excavators, glaziers, plasterers, painters, masons, window frame installers, roofers, concrete construction workers and scaffolders. Within technology roles, Wij van Noord places electricians, metal workers, car mechanics, welders, plumbers, service technicians and other skilled trades. For candidates uncertain which trade best suits them or willing to take on various roles, the agency offers a broader orientation process, arranging positions that match individual strengths and interests.

Located at Emmakade 59 in Leeuwarden, Wij van Noord operates during standard business hours, operating Monday to Friday from 08:30 to 17:30. The agency emphasises the 'Noorderlingen mentaliteit' (Northern mentality) in its approach, reflecting the values and work ethic of the Friesland region.
