Why Search

WHY Search is a decisive recruitment agency based in IJsselstein, Netherlands, specialising in the recruitment and selection of commercial and technical supporting roles within the manufacturing industry. The company's compact team comprises dedicated consultants and successful entrepreneurs with extensive practical experience in management and human resources. What sets WHY Search apart is not only expertise in recruitment, but also decades of experience in sales leadership and the management of sales teams within large organisations, allowing the company to understand where businesses truly need support and identify candidates who fit best.

WHY Search offers executive search, recruitment services and talent analysis through its Talent Motivation Analysis (TMA) service. The company developed the V5 Matching Process to create sustainable connections between employers and commercial candidates by following five key process steps focused on understanding both candidate capabilities and personal fit. When evaluating candidates, WHY Search considers professional knowledge and skills important, but places greater emphasis on personal qualities, how individuals are motivated and whether they align with specific company cultures.

The company works primarily with employers in the manufacturing sector, developing deep understanding of that business landscape. Rather than simply filling commercial vacancies, WHY Search presents candidates who genuinely fit both the role and the organisation's culture. Partners Henk Westerduin and Stefan van Grieken lead a team focused on connecting people with opportunities where they can truly thrive.
