Welfare Recruitment Solutions is a recruitment company that fills specialised roles in the welfare, not-for-profit and charity sectors in Australia and overseas. It was founded in 2017 by Edward Cockburn, who is its director. He says he has more than 15 years of recruitment experience in the welfare sector in Australia and the UK, and he specialises in senior and executive recruitment for not for profits and charities nationwide.

The company works with organisations ranging from small community groups to some of the largest players in the market. It helps clients plan recruitment campaigns, fill roles that are hard to fill and run search and select assignments for senior placements, on either a contingent or a retained basis. It recruits for permanent, contract or temporary, and part time positions.

Its stated specialisms are children, young people and families services, aged care, domestic violence, homelessness and mental health support services, disability services, and fundraising and communications, alongside senior and executive recruitment. It recruits from front line staff through middle management to executive leadership, including CEOs working with boards. It says it is independent from any organisation.
