Wavelength is a medical recruitment group that places doctors in locum and permanent roles across Australia. It was founded in 1999 by Dr John Bethell, a doctor, and Claire Ponsford, who had built her career in healthcare HR and international recruitment. It describes itself as independent since 1999.

The company recruits across medical specialties including emergency medicine, general practice, surgery, psychiatry, paediatrics, obstetrics and gynaecology, anaesthetics, radiology and general medicine. Its teams cover locum and roster management, permanent placements, GP recruitment and healthcare executive search. It also provides regulatory and migration services, supporting internationally trained doctors through AHPRA registration and visa applications. Some of its recruiters also place doctors in New Zealand.

Wavelength works for doctors and healthcare employers. It reports placing doctors in more than 1,400 healthcare facilities and says it is partnered with over 100,000 doctors. Its head office is in Surry Hills, New South Wales.
