Walter is a remote staffing agency that connects businesses with remote talent from Latin America and the Philippines. It recruits for clients in technology, finance, healthcare, real estate, legal services, creative services and eCommerce.

The roles it fills include front-end, back-end and full stack developers, digital marketing specialists, social media managers, sales and business development reps, accounts receivable and payable specialists, customer service reps and virtual assistants.

The process starts with a discovery call about the client's needs. Walter then sources candidates, who go through skills assessments, video interviews and screenings, and presents a shortlist from which the client makes the hiring decision. After the hire, it carries out monthly check-ins for the first 6 months. It replaces a hire at no extra cost if the person is not the right fit within 12 months. Walter says hiring from these regions can save up to 80% compared with North American salaries.
