It was founded in 1989, initially to help graduates start their careers, and describes itself as a boutique recruitment and search consultancy. Victoria Wall is the company founder, and Nick Coleridge-Watts and Manjinder Kang are managing directors.

The company recruits for financial services, commercial property, management consultancy, marketing, executive search, technology, private family offices, legal, insurance, creative and arts, and luxury retail.
