Vlotter

Vlotter is a recruitment and detachering company focused exclusively on the public sector in the Netherlands. Based in Hoorn, Noord-Holland, they connect professionals with municipalities and government organisations across multiple administrative domains. The company emphasises an informal, professional approach to recruitment, treating candidates as valued individuals rather than transaction numbers.

The company specialises in staffing roles across the Social Domain, Spatial and Planning, Management, and Operations sectors. They work with municipalities including Zaanstad, Alkmaar, Velsen, Gooise Meren, and Dijk en Waard. Vlotter prides itself on personal engagement, thorough job matching, and continuous support for both candidates and employers throughout assignments.

Vlotter operates as a small, experienced team with deep expertise in public sector hiring. They maintain a close-knit culture with regular team events and celebrations. The company contributes to social impact through charitable initiatives, partnering with schools in West Africa to support education costs. Candidates receive employment contracts with full labour protections and remain part of the Vlotter team during their assignments.
