Vencorp Placements

Vencorp Placements is a medical recruitment agency situated in Cape Town. It provides health vacancies to enrolled nurses and medical doctors, placing candidates on both a locum and a permanent basis in top medical facilities across South Africa. The agency is a division of the Vencorp Group, which was established in 2010 by professionals with a vision of creating something different, and it has been placing locums, enrolled nurses and permanent medical professionals in both public and private facilities since 2011.

The specialism is healthcare staffing and nothing else. Its stated mission is to provide high quality staffing solutions to partner medical facilities across South Africa and to benefit the community by supplying the medical industry with the most suited, qualified and passionate staff. The clients it names include the Western Cape Department of Health, the City of Cape Town, Mediclinic Hospital Group, Melomed Hospital Group, MedCrowd Care Centres, Life Healthcare Group, Spescare Facilities, Nurture Health, Busamed, LifePath Group and Rondebosch Medical Centre.

The agency reports a national footprint, with health vacancies in Gauteng and Mpumalanga as well as Cape Town and clients across the country. A dedicated team is on call 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Each candidate is given a dedicated team member to guide them through registration for locum and nursing work, which the agency says keeps its candidates to a high standard. It offers competitive hourly rates and pay scales, processes all payments on time and provides tax assistance through its partner, the Vencorp Group. Bookings go to +27 (72) 969 8392, while compliance, registrations and payroll are handled on +27 (60) 054 4682. The wider group also runs the Vencorp Foundation, which works with schools and hospitals in the Western Cape.
