Validu

VALIDU Recruitment is a work force match platform, published on its own site with a beta label. It describes itself as a platform to connect employers with freelance agency recruiters, and it sums itself up in a handful of lines: employers get contingent recruitment agency service at half the costs, successful agency recruiters get more money in their pocket, and the company calls itself the Freelancer or Upwork for recruiters and the Uber of recruitment agencies. The site is divided into sections for agency recruiters and headhunters, for employers, and for partners and investors.

The process is set out step by step. Employers provide the job and requirements description for a role to be filled, freelance recruiters suggest suitable candidates, freelance screeners rank the suggested candidates, and employers select the top candidates for interview. Freelance recruiters and screeners are paid when a selected candidate starts employment: the employer pays VALIDU, and VALIDU pays the recruiters and screeners a fee based on their placement contributions. The company states that blockchain technology ensures a secure, transparent and verifiable process for employers, recruiters and candidates alike.

For recruiters and headhunters the offer is to find roles to fill, work from anywhere, suggest and screen candidates, build a reputation and, VALIDU claims, earn more money per placement than they would making the same placement for most recruitment agencies. For employers the offer is to crowdsource the shortlist for their vacancies and reduce recruitment agency and headhunting costs by about half. The company says it is in the startup phase and asks both recruiters and employers to apply now to be notified when it goes live. It also invites partners and investors, stating a mission to make the labour market efficient using blockchain technology, AI, machine learning and industry understanding, and it says it will disrupt the 275 billion dollar global recruitment agency market. VALIDU and validu.com are operated by Verimy BV.
