UNCOVER

UNCOVER is a recruitment agency that works only in legal risk and compliance, placing staff with UK and international law firms. It was founded by Daniel Chatfield, a former lawyer who qualified as a solicitor in South Africa and moved to the UK in 2015. He then spent six years leading the Legal Governance team at an international recruitment firm before setting up UNCOVER. The company says it has recruited in this profession for over 7 years.

It fills roles across the risk and compliance function, including AML and financial crime analysts, conflicts analysts, business acceptance analysts and managers, risk and compliance managers, risk lawyers, and senior appointments such as Heads of Risk, MLROs and COLPs. It recruits permanent, contract and interim positions.

Based in London, UNCOVER places candidates across the UK, including regional firms in Manchester, Birmingham, Leeds and Bristol, and says it has helped grow teams in Europe, Australia, Asia and the UAE. It also publishes an annual UK salary survey and salary guide, and runs a podcast and newsletter on the sector.
