Ukraine2Work

Ukraine2Work is a non-profit organisation founded in April 2023 with a clear mission: to connect Ukrainian refugees with meaningful work in the Netherlands, enabling them to utilise their professional skills and build economic independence. The platform operates on the belief that access to work is essential for successful integration and life rebuilding. By removing barriers between qualified Ukrainian professionals and Dutch employers, Ukraine2Work creates mutually beneficial opportunities.

All services are provided free to Ukrainian job seekers, with focus on practical support, resources and guidance throughout the employment process. The platform is accessible in three languages and maintains a supportive network for candidates. Ukraine2Work uses skill-based matching rather than credentials or language level alone, recognising that Ukrainian professionals possess valuable expertise that Dutch employers urgently need across technical, logistics, care and cleaning sectors. The platform has evolved to include skills validation (via SkillsAPK), language support (via Kleurrijker) and partnerships with municipalities, NGOs, social enterprises and training organisations.

Since launch, Ukraine2Work has grown to support over 400 Ukrainian talents, provides access to 300,000 updated vacancies from across the Netherlands and facilitates direct matching with employers. The team comprises both Dutch and Ukrainian professionals united by commitment to building bridges and creating opportunity. In May 2025, the platform introduced hyperrealistic 3D work environment simulations through a partnership with Metaverse Solutions, allowing candidates to practise job tasks before starting work.
