Ubuntu Staffing is a Dutch staffing company that takes its name and its working philosophy from the Ubuntu principle, ik ben omdat wij zijn, I am because we are, which it reads as meaning that its identity and its success depend on its relationships with others. It works for both sides of the market, professionals looking for an assignment or a next career step and organisations looking for the right candidate. For clients the services are interim recruitment, werving en selectie, all-in verloning, contractmanagement and MSP, while professionals can search for an assignment, freelance through Ubuntu, be placed permanently or use the all-in payrolling route.

The specialisation is visible in the assignments on the board, and it is information technology for the Dutch public sector. Open roles include DevOps engineers, back-end, front-end and platform engineers, cloud and infrastructure engineers, a senior security engineer for IAM and application security, an FG and AI compliance officer, business analysts, information analysts and information managers, a release train engineer, a scrum master, a UX expert, an IT service manager and PMO support. The organisations named as clients are largely government and education: the Belastingdienst, ICTU, the Ministerie van Defensie, the Ministerie van SZW, Kadaster, SURF, Stedin, Albeda, the Universiteit van Amsterdam and Hogeschool van Amsterdam, and the municipalities of Zwartewaterland and Montferland.
