trive is a Dublin executive search firm that headhunts leaders for growing technology businesses, including SaaS and IT companies. It searches in three areas: commercial leaders who win customers and grow revenue, channel and partnerships leaders who build indirect routes to market through ecosystems, strategic partnerships and alliances, and technology leaders who scale teams and deliver transformation.

The firm works with CEOs and senior leaders in growing technology businesses. It says it challenges the client's brief to establish the problem behind the hire before it begins a search. It was launched in 2021 by its founder, James Alexander.

Alexander started in recruitment in 2010, placing contractors for IBM across the Nordic region. He then spent eight years in Melbourne, where he built and ran a data science and analytics team within a publicly listed global agency. He returned to Ireland in 2018 to establish the Technology division of a boutique financial services recruiter.
