Tribonum

Tribonum Vardbemanning AB is a healthcare staffing company working in what Swedish calls vardbemanning, and it has been an established player in that sector for close to a decade, with strong relationships and assignments across the whole of Sweden. It places consultants with vardgivare, the care providers who need cover, and keeps the process to three steps. Step one is contact, through an interest registration form, an SMS or a phone call. Step two is the assignment itself, where the consultant is offered proposals matched to their stated needs, including accommodation and travel options. Step three is payment, which can be settled either by invoicing from the consultant's own company or as salary paid to a private account. Every consultant keeps a dedicated konsultchef throughout.

The specialism is healthcare, and the professionals placed are clinicians. Testimonials published on the site come from a leg. lakare allmanspecialist, a leg. sjukskoterska, an ST-lakare in allmanmedicin, and a leg. sjukskoterska who is also an avdelningschef at ASIH in Stockholm, alongside a verksamhetschef at a vardcentral in Stockholm who reported fast help getting the right person into a home healthcare service. Tribonum states a long and deep understanding of the care sector's challenges seen from both the client and the consultant perspective, and describes personal adaptation, close relationships and a sense of belonging as the reasons consultants stay.

Tribonum is available through the nationella upphandlingen, the national procurement framework, and also works with several of Sweden's largest private care providers, where it has been procured and holds well established partnerships. In 2025 the company began a new chapter when it became part of Medelia, a staffing business with long experience of vardbemanning and its own background in consultancy work inside healthcare. The handover came through a generational change, with Johan Backius, one of Tribonum's earlier key people, staying on. Together with Erik Widengren and Jonas Ronne he forms the core of Team Tribonum, all three working as konsultchef, with Goran and Jacob also listed in that role.
