Trade Team

Trade Team is a US staffing company that supplies general laborers, skilled tradesmen, and professional and management personnel to the marine, heavy industrial, manufacturing and light industrial sectors. It places people on a direct hire, temp-to-perm or temporary basis.

The company was founded in 2004 by Willoughby Warren Colonna, Jr., owner of Colonna's Shipyard, and traces its industrial roots to a marine repair company started in Virginia in 1875. It was originally set up to provide temporary skilled labour to the Colonna yard and other local Virginia marine businesses. It has since separated from the Colonna ownership and opened multiple locations across the United States. It says it provides hundreds of tradespeople to marine, industrial and manufacturing markets.

Offices in Virginia, Florida, California, Wisconsin, Mississippi and Washington cover the East Coast, West Coast, Gulf Coast and Great Lakes. The company says it can service almost any area within the continental United States. Roles it fills include welders, pipe fitters, shipfitters, electricians and crane operators, as well as project managers, estimators, engineers and safety staff.
