TPZ & Kollegen GmbH is an Austrian Personalberatung based in Vienna that sets out to join two things usually kept apart. It combines the speed to market and divisional specialisation of classic Personalberatung with the client orientation and long standing expertise of executive search. Its stated mission is to build strategic partnerships, shape tailored solutions together with the client and deliver replicable results, and its approach is designed for a long term relationship rather than a single placement. Instead of one off solutions that cannot be repeated, the aim is to keep winning suitable candidates who are cut to a client's specific requirements.

The work is organised into six divisions, each with its own hiring problem described. Finance and Accounting is about finding experts who can move confidently through an increasingly complex regulatory environment while developing proactive financial strategies. Sales and Marketing is about talent that combines selling technique with creative thinking, strong networks and convincing brand messages. Engineering and Manufacturing calls for technical know how, an understanding of modern production and the ability to adapt to automated processes and Industrie 4.0. Information Technology needs people who solve technological challenges and offer answers for digital transformation. Human Resources looks for experts who understand strategic personnel management and can optimise HR processes. Procurement and Supply Chain covers professionals who design efficient supply chains and develop innovative sourcing strategies.

Clients are looked after by a fixed account manager who coordinates the partnership, supported by a division specialised team of a consultant who leads the process and qualifies candidates and a recruiter who handles first approach and preselection. The process runs in six steps, from job briefing and needs analysis through recruiting and selection, candidate presentation, support during the interview phase, feedback and communication, and finally hiring and integration, where the company stays with the new employee through the induction period.
