Toppr

Toppr is a specialist recruitment company based in Amsterdam with 25 years of experience in connecting talent with employers who value their skills. Originally founded as Ivoren Wachters, Toppr has evolved to offer targeted matchmaking services that go beyond traditional recruitment. The company specialises in placing young professionals and experienced finance talent into roles that genuinely fit their capabilities and career aspirations, working with a personal approach that prioritises quality over volume.

Toppr's core recruitment specialisations centre on two primary sectors: retail, food, and FMCG businesses, where the company places young talent into dynamic commercial environments, and finance, where Toppr fills both permanent vacancies and temporary assignments for Dutch SMEs. The company also provides cost-efficient outsourcing of financial administrative work, including accounts receivable management and tax returns. This dual focus allows Toppr to maintain deep expertise and strong networks within each sector, ensuring candidates are matched with organisations whose culture and values align with their professional goals.

Based in Amsterdam, Toppr serves clients and candidates across the Netherlands through its small but highly experienced team. The company differentiates itself through its personal, consultative approach, maintaining close contact with both candidates and employers throughout the recruitment and placement process. Clients choose Toppr for its combination of specialist sector knowledge, reliable communication, competitive pricing, and commitment to creating matches that deliver genuine impact rather than pursuing a transactional recruitment model.
