Toi Toi Recruitment

Toi Toi Recruitment supplies relief teachers and early childhood relievers to early learning centres, schools and OSCAR (out of school hours care) programmes across Hawke's Bay, New Zealand. It covers early childhood, primary and secondary relief work, and also fills permanent and longer-term roles when the fit is right.

The company is locally owned and operated in Hawke's Bay and is based in Hastings. It says its team has been personally involved in the childcare industry for over 15 years. Its consultants work to understand the needs of centres, schools and educators and to match them on expertise, skill and personality.

Educators register for relief work and manage their availability and bookings through a free app, which centres and schools also use to book staff. Bookings can be made from 6.30am. The company says it mentors its relievers and offers regular professional development, training and networking events. It describes relief work as suiting parents returning to the workforce, retired educators and those still studying.
