The Talent Branch

The Talent Branch is a UK recruitment consultancy that specialises in the furniture and upholstery industry. It was founded by Carlos Garcia, who is its principal consultant. The company works on permanent placements for upholsterers, cabinet makers, furniture designers, interior designers and restoration specialists, alongside project management and field technical roles. Its clients include furniture manufacturers and retailers, and it says it covers the whole of the UK and Ireland.

It says every candidate is interviewed and assessed before being put forward, and it searches its network of tradespeople and advertises through specialist channels. Fees are due only on a successful placement, with no upfront costs or retainers, and permanent placements carry a rebate period. The company reports more than 2,000 placements, over 400 client companies, 20 or more years of industry experience and a 95% placement retention rate.
