The Shoy

The Shoy Group is a boutique recruiting and HR consulting firm based in San Diego, California, with two core service offerings: contingent recruiting and HR consulting. The firm is built on the belief that the right candidate creates a ripple effect throughout an organisation, extending far beyond the immediate role. As a San Diego-based company, the firm understands how ocean waves, big or small, create lasting ripples, using this metaphor to describe the impact of exceptional talent on organisational culture and performance.

The company's contingent recruiting service recognises that the best candidates often are not actively job searching, and therefore focuses on reaching passive candidates through targeted outreach. Rather than relying on job board applicants alone, the firm builds long-term client relationships and conducts extensive screening to identify candidates who not only have the required skills but will thrive within specific roles and match company culture. The Shoy Group's HR consulting services equip company leadership with the foundation needed to define talent development strategies as organisations scale, and provide interim HR support when companies are transitioning or building their permanent HR function.

The Shoy Group distinguishes itself through unmatched ability to identify great talent, professional HR expertise, and the ambition to compete in today's most challenging markets. Client testimonials highlight their strategic approach to understanding competitive landscapes and company go-to-market strategy, combined with their ability to provide industry-specific guidance at critical business moments. The firm views each client relationship as long-term and remains invested until clients succeed.
