The Referral Recruiters

The Referral Recruiters is an award-winning nationwide recruiting firm specialising in construction and building materials hiring across the United States and Canada. Founded in January 2024 by Courtney Keene, a Native American and female-owned company, the firm brings 12+ years of specialised recruiting experience in building materials, construction, home improvement, and manufacturing. The company specialises in hiring sales representatives, mid-level managers, and executives across three main segments: construction, architectural and design/build services, and building materials and manufacturing.

Courteneys approach emphasises targeted recruiting, seeking and attracting top passive leadership candidates who are not actively job searching through direct sourcing rather than job board automation. The firm serves 62 clients across 150 cities, developing customised hiring strategies that optimise job descriptions, compensation plans, and hiring processes. The company speaks the language of the industries it serves, understanding roles, expectations, performance metrics, and market trends to help clients hire with confidence and remain competitive.

The Referral Recruiters distinguishes itself through expertise in engaging passive candidates, deep industry knowledge of construction and building materials, and genuine relationship building with clients. Courtney brings honesty, enthusiasm, and a driven competitive spirit to every engagement, using her talents to help clients prosper, grow, and flourish. The firm serves the full range of construction-related hiring needs from field positions to executive leadership across the building materials and home improvement sectors.
