The Recruitment Runner

The Recruitment Runner is a boutique recruitment firm based in Canada offering flexible staffing solutions tailored to engineering, construction, and field services companies. Operating as a growth partner rather than a traditional agency, the company combines experience from in-house talent acquisition and agency recruitment to deliver solutions that evolve with client hiring needs. The firm brings extensive experience from leading Canadian organisations and global engineering firms, understanding the competitive talent landscape and the distinct challenges of recruiting skilled trades and technical professionals.

The Recruitment Runner offers two primary service models: Targeted Search for critical one-off hires, leveraging networks and focused outreach to find candidates without ongoing commitment; and Recruiter on Demand, embedding recruiters directly with clients to support talent attraction, sourcing, screening, interview coordination, and overall recruitment process. Clients can start, pause, or scale services based on evolving business needs, making the firm's approach genuinely flexible. Their team brings expertise across engineering, field services, trades, manufacturing, and corporate environments, enabling them to speak the language of hiring managers and understand market dynamics.

The Recruitment Runner is proud to work on the traditional territories of the Treaty 7 Nations and the Métis Nation of Alberta Region 3, honouring their history, cultures, and connection to the land. The firm's founder brings the perspective of a caring, responsive professional with strong connections across hiring communities. Client testimonials highlight the firm's informed, professional, and supportive approach, with consistent attention to candidate experience and hiring manager satisfaction.
