The organisation sees people rediscover a sense of purpose through finding fulfilling work where they can add real value, becoming role models who drive positive generational impact across their families. The Recruitment Junction delivers on skills shortages across the north east, pushes back on regional unemployment, and contributes to a national reduction in reoffending.

The charity's comprehensive support model begins with identifying suitable candidates and meeting everyone in person to build trust and confirm work-readiness. The Recruitment Junction updates CVs, renews qualifications and industry tickets, and coaches candidates on disclosing past convictions clearly and in full. The organisation then supports candidates through the interview process, offering mock interview practice, providing brand-new interview outfits, covering travel-to-interview costs, and obtaining Right-to-Work documents.

The Recruitment Junction operates across the north east of England, with offices in Newcastle and Durham, serving employers seeking to address skills shortages whilst making a positive social impact. The charity offers six months of in-work mentoring support, including a first week's travel pass and any necessary PPE or workwear, whilst maintaining close contact with both employer and candidate during the early months. Between 2021 and 2025, The Recruitment Junction supported 1,294 individuals with prior convictions, placing 897 into paid work with a 66 per cent retention rate and fewer than 5 per cent reoffending.
