The People Group

The People Group is an Irish recruitment agency that specialises in sales, marketing and digital roles. It also hires for finance, retail, HR and accountancy positions in Ireland. The firm was founded in 1989 and is based in the Grand Canal area of Dublin, with its office at 4 Clanwilliam Square. It cites 37 years of market intelligence and says it has helped more than 6,500 people find jobs.

Its services cover permanent hires, short-term contracts and executive search. Contract work includes interim and maternity cover, project managers, freelancers and contractors. Contractors can be employed through its panel, which takes on the paperwork, insurance and payrolling. For executive search, it says it operates across the globe.

The firm was acquired in 2006 and became part of the Newcourt PLC group of companies. In August 2009 Colm Buckley, Brian Sweeney and Siobhan Phelan completed a management buyout. Buckley has been Managing Director since 2009.
