It was established in 1971 as a small family business in Hampton Roads, and it says it employs hundreds of associates every day. In 2012 it opened an office in Chesterfield to serve the Richmond area, and it also has offices in Newport News and Chesapeake.
The firm fills temporary, trial-to-hire and direct placement roles. It recruits in finance and accounting, call centre, administrative support, transportation and logistics, marketing, professional services, distribution and warehousing, human resources, industrial and manufacturing, hospitality, sales and renewable energy. Its executive recruitment and headhunting arm, Lee Group Search, works in Virginia and nationwide. The company also offers the CORE Assessment, a tool for developing leaders and teams.
Walter Graham and Eric Kean, two long-term employees, took over ownership of the company in January 2007.
