About the Agency
The Heller Group is a legal recruitment firm based in Toronto. It specialises in placing lawyers with law firms and corporations, and also works with individual candidates considering a career move. It says its recruiters are all experienced lawyers.
The firm places lawyers across Canada and at all levels, on a permanent or contract basis. It also places senior legal professionals, including compliance officers, contract administrators and law clerks. It says it attracts legal talent across Canada and internationally.
Its process includes database selection, networking, advertising and direct search. The firm says it uses direct search, unlike most other legal recruitment firms, because some strong candidates are not actively looking for a new job. It reports over 20 years of experience.
