The Employment Firm

The Employment Firm is a staffing company serving employers and job seekers in Denver and surrounding areas of Colorado. Marty Mihm and Mike Finch took ownership in 2004, and the company says it has placed people in Colorado since then. It describes itself as independently owned and says it has a high retention rate among its employees.

It offers temp-to-hire, temporary and direct-hire placement, as well as payroll services. For temp-to-hire and temporary work it pays the employee weekly, bills the client weekly on approved hours and provides insurance cover including workers' compensation. Direct-hire fees are a percentage of the employee's first-year salary and are payable only once the person starts. Candidates are screened before placement. Job seekers can use a mobile app to view jobs, pay stubs and work records.

The company lists engineering, solar and renewable energy, aerospace and defence, medical device manufacturing, and optics and photonics among the sectors it serves. It has offices in Denver and Westminster, Colorado, and also lists jobs in Longmont and Northern Colorado.
