The Douglas Partnership

The Douglas Partnership is a London-based executive search and selection consultancy that recruits senior professionals in wealth management and the wider financial services sector. Its clients are blue chip and boutique financial services firms in London, Scotland, other UK regional centres and overseas financial centres.

The firm was founded by Robin Douglas in November 2001. Its main focus is wealth management, including private wealth management, investment management, private banking, global custody and third party administration, and it also fills other senior positions. It recruits for both permanent and interim roles and sources candidates through international networks.

Executive search and selection is its core business. It also offers advertised selection, contingent recruitment, recruitment advertising, ad hoc consultancy, research projects, pre-search studies and psychometric assessment. Robin Douglas began as a Commissioned Officer in the British Army, then worked as a Lloyd's broker, and later spent eight years at a global search firm, where he ran its asset and wealth management practice in London. The firm says he has over 38 years of experience in executive search.
