The Carney Group

The Carney Group is a recruitment and placement firm based in Blue Bell, Pennsylvania, serving the Greater Philadelphia region. It was founded in 1992 by Nanette and John Carney, who saw a need in the employment sector for mature, experienced professionals.

The firm recruits for administrative, accounting and finance, customer service, executive and management, healthcare (insurance, medical and pharma), human resources, information technology, manufacturing and engineering, and sales and marketing roles. It places candidates in contract and direct hire positions, and says it connects companies with talent of all ages, experiences and backgrounds through a consultative, high-touch approach.

For candidates, it says it helps uncover opportunities not advertised to the public, keeps a search confidential for those already employed, and offers pre-interview preparation and career advice.
