The Byrnel Group is a recruitment consultancy that uses former industry professionals to recruit active industry professionals. It says it helps candidates across Canada find new roles and helps firms across the country find talent.

The company recruits in finance and accounting, marketing, and operations. Finance roles include CFO and executive finance leadership, financial planning and analysis, audit, controllership, treasury and taxation. Marketing roles include CMO and executive marketing leadership, brand and portfolio management, digital strategy, and data strategy and analytics. Operations roles cover COO and executive operational leadership, supply chain and logistics, engineering and manufacturing operations.

It was founded by two former finance and accounting professionals who say they worked for over 10 years across technology, financial services, manufacturing and consumer packaged goods. Its consultants are former finance, marketing and operations professionals, and the company says each has more than 10 years in those functions. It also says it uses technology to improve the hiring process for employers and candidates.
