The Alpha Group

The Alpha Group is an independent, woman-owned staffing agency based in Norton, Massachusetts, which opened in 1981. It places candidates in light industrial and office roles, and also recruits for accounting and finance, skilled trades, human resources, information technology, engineering, and sales and marketing positions.

The company serves clients in Rhode Island, Massachusetts and nationwide, from small businesses to Fortune 500 companies. Its services are temporary staffing, temp-to-perm, direct hire, executive search and payrolling. It says it provides drug testing, reference checks, work authorisation, computer testing and background checks for candidates, and can bring mobile services to a client's worksite. It also says it does not outsource its HR, payroll or other processes.

In 2017 the company created Alpha Cares, a programme that each month raises funds or awareness for a charitable cause. Campaigns have supported Toys for Tots, the Hebron Food Pantry of Attleboro and the Boston Walk to Defeat ALS. It reports that some customers have been with it for more than 25 years.
