Tentek is an IT staffing firm that places technology professionals with employers on contract, contract-to-hire and direct-hire bases. It says it has been placing IT professionals since 1989.

The company is headquartered in Glendale, California, and has a branch office in Westerville, Ohio. Its client base spans automotive, banking, communications, entertainment, health care and insurance, among other sectors, and includes large IT consulting and services firms.

Tentek says its recruiters each have between eight and 15 or more years of experience with the firm, and that its proprietary database holds more than 75,000 technology professionals. It says candidates are screened through skill testing, background testing, reference checks and credential verification before they are presented to clients.
