About the Agency
Teal Energi is a Houston-based energy staffing business that recruits for oil and gas, LNG, petrochemicals, power generation and renewables projects. It serves operators and developers, and says it supports major energy projects across North America from offices in Houston and Denver. Its work covers the full project lifecycle, from concept and engineering through construction, commissioning, and operations and maintenance.
The company offers contract staffing, direct hire staffing through contingent and engaged search, and consultative project support such as workforce planning, talent mapping and benchmarking. For contractors it handles onboarding, payroll, benefits and ongoing check-ins, and it arranges travel, visa and work permit support where required. It recruits project managers, engineers, HSE and QA/QC professionals, planners, contract specialists, document control staff, construction teams, operations talent and senior hires.
The team came together in 2015, and the business was established in 2021. Aaron Dowds and Jennifer Svensson are named as co-founders. A partnership with iPS Powerful People, begun in 2022, supports international mobility and overseas project needs.
