Talent With Purpose

Talent With Purpose is the practice of Sara, who introduces herself on the homepage as someone who helps purpose led organisations hire with confidence, clarity and care. Her opening line is that great missions deserve great people. She has worked inside the kinds of organisations she now supports, and says she understands the pressure of hiring quickly while staying true to a mission, which is why she now offers flexible, embedded recruitment and people ops support to small teams building strong foundations.

The organisations she names are non-profits, activist collectives, climate tech teams and values driven startups. Four ways of working are offered. Embedded Hiring Partner is ongoing support for one to three roles per quarter, embedding within the team to run recruitment and strengthen internal processes along the way. Hiring Systems Sprint is a short, focused project to build inclusive, efficient and scalable hiring systems. Role-Specific Hiring covers one critical role on a fixed fee and flexible format, from job advert to offer. People Ops Projects are add-ons and one-off pieces such as onboarding design, DEI audits, neurodiversity support and panel training.

The company is based in Vancouver, British Columbia, and publishes a land acknowledgement recognising the traditional, unceded territory of the Musqueam, Squamish and Tsleil-Waututh Nations. The case study on the homepage describes a stalled hiring round in a stretched small team with more than a hundred applications and no time to rework the job description; together they clarified the role, made the language more inclusive and built a hiring flow aligned with the organisation's values, and a new team member joined within weeks. Clients start with a free discovery call or the enquiry form, and correspondence goes to [email protected].
