Talent Suite

Talent Suite is a Spanish advisory and headhunting practice that describes its work as standing at the crossroads of companies and professionals, and as doing things differently. The firm marks the fifteenth birthday of what it calls its idea of helping, something it says was only possible because of the people who decided to give it a chance and continued to trust it. Its founders openly say they disliked many of the habits inherent in headhunting that they had experienced as candidates themselves, among them a lack of knowledge of the client, its environment, organisation and constraints, the feeling of being treated from an absurd position of superiority, hard communication and arguable tests and written checkpoints. Candour and respect in relationships have therefore always been the base from which they start.

The practice sets out its view of how hiring has changed. Twenty years ago people applied by sending a handwritten letter in response to an advertisement, and headhunting companies relied on personal networking and private databases, before the internet allowed applications and hundreds of CVs to flow through jobsites. For many years the challenge in talent acquisition was identifying the valid candidates among that immensity, with heterogeneous shortlists that demanded a notable effort to see who would perform the mission best. Open technologies then inverted the paradigm: everybody became visible, networks provide full access, and the offer market is wide, so the main challenge is no longer identifying potential candidates but attracting and even seducing them.

Talent Suite works from Spain and keeps its Spanish language site organised around sections it names Find your room, The thing we do, Customersion, Decalogue, Blog and Where are We. Clients are offered explanation first and questions later, transparency in the short distance and constant care with information, on the reasoning that trust is what makes relationships thrive and integrity is the shortest route to progression.
