SWR Group

SWR Group is an executive and specialist search firm in New Zealand, with offices in Auckland and Wellington. It describes itself as a boutique firm that sources leadership talent and specialised, hard-to-fill roles. It covers governance, C-suite and lower leadership roles, on a permanent or contract basis. Its services are director search, executive search, specialist search for roles needing technical or niche skills, and executive leasing, which deploys interim management and consulting specialists on change and transformation initiatives.

The firm grew from a 2017 merger of Auckland-based Rosenberg Executive Search and the SandriWalsh team in Wellington. Its origins go back more than 15 years, to when Graeme Sandri, Tony Walsh, Mark Chote and Tim Rosenberg began working together. Graeme Sandri has recruited chief executives and senior roles across the public, private and not-for-profit sectors.

Its search team numbers five people, including a researcher based in the UK. SWR Group is also the New Zealand partner of the Taplow Group, a global search group represented in over 24 countries.
