Swift Recruitment

Swift Recruitment is a South African recruitment agency whose strapline is swiftly placing legendary staff. Its business philosophy is that suitably selected candidates, appropriately placed and positioned, become an effective tool and asset in achieving an organisation's business plan, and the company says it has kept abreast of the continuing technological and organisational changes in the workplace. Its recruitment and selection procedures are described as non discriminatory, and it supports the use of laws, policies, systems and processes that promote placing candidates on the basis of competencies.

The company works as a generalist rather than within one named sector. Its mission statement commits it to service excellence in three areas: recruitment, selection and placement; responsive handling; and permanent and contract staff employment. It analyses a client's business needs and provides support across all areas of employment so the client can concentrate on running the business, and it presents contract staff as a cost effective way of coping with seasonal work peaks, holidays and sickness without the administrative hassle that usually comes with them.

Everything on the site is aimed at South African employers and jobseekers, and the company points out that its CVs comply with the Labour Relations Act. Clients are told that fees are competitive and carry a guarantee, that professional, credit and criminal reference checks are conducted where required, and that applicants can undergo a wide range of assessments to determine competencies and skills if the client wants them. The company promises dedicated professional attention and co-operation in selecting the best qualified and most suitable candidates. Candidates use a Job Space section to see what is open and a submit your CV page to register, and those two routes sit alongside the about and contact pages that make up the rest of the site.
