Swift Placement and Consulting

Swift Placement and Consulting is a recruitment and consulting firm that works in the machine tool and cutting tool industry. It was started by Jeff Swift, who saw that the industry needed a recruitment consultant who knew its challenges. The firm is based in Byron Center, Michigan.

It places people at all levels, from top-level leadership to ground-level roles, across areas such as leadership, engineering, supply chains and distribution. It also offers industry-specific consultation to companies in cutting tools manufacturing and distribution. The firm says its team includes former machine tool executives, and that it involves client companies at every step of its process rather than working as a placement factory.
