Supportas

supportas gmbh is a Swiss company that supplies Springer, stand in professionals who step into a role at short notice, for school leadership and municipal administration. Its managing director Marco Stühlinger works as a Schulleitungsspringer himself and describes assignments that last from a few weeks up to a year, covering personnel shortages, vacancies and emergencies. The company offers employers a network of qualified and experienced school leaders and administrative specialists rather than a single named interim.

Its work is split into three offers. For schools it provides temporary Schulleitung cover during an absence or an emergency, a bridging solution during a vacancy and support when a leadership team is overloaded, extending into MAB and MAG staff appraisals, Personal- und Pensenplanung, preparation for the external Schulevaluation and ICT advice. For Gemeinden it places specialists in administration, including Gemeindeschreiberinnen and Gemeindeschreiber, Schulverwaltungsleitung, tax, finance and Einwohnerkontrolle, Tagesstrukturen and Schülerbelange, and HR. For individual school leaders it offers coaching for Kader, covering the onboarding of new Schulleitungen, process coordination, legal advice and supervision, drawing in Fachpartner where needed.

supportas works in German speaking Switzerland, and the references it publishes come from schools and school authorities there, among them a Primarschule, several Sekundarschulen and a Schulpflege in the Zürich agglomeration. Those clients describe a Springer placed quickly to cover a maternity leave and an assignment of around ten months, and they single out the speed of the response and the fact that the Springer was immediately able to work and easy to integrate into the existing organisation. The company also packages its work into Lösungspakete for employers facing a shortage, and it recruits on its own account, inviting experienced school leaders and people trained in municipal or school administration to work for it. Every enquiry starts with a first conversation offered free of obligation.
